The Mission of M.O.S.T (Mothers/Men of Slain Teens) is to create a movement of parents nationwide that have suffered the loss of a slain teen by way of gun/community violence. M.O.S. T is distinctively designed to address the immediate and long-term needs of parents affected by child murder (i.e. financial, therapeutic, community resources, advocacy, etc.). We have four objectives- Mentorship, Outreach, Scholarship, and Training (Character-Building Education). M.O.S.T is intentional about saving the lives of young people and preventing other parents from having to experience the grief of the tragedy we have endured. It is our mission to promote positive change by advocating and addressing senseless violence in the name of our children and supporting each other while doing it.
