Friendly Atmosphere Mentoring, affectionately known as FAM is a peer mentoring program in Columbia, SC. We meet weekly with teens ages 13-19 giving them a safe space to come and discuss their day to day lives. Our mission is to help evolve the hearts and minds of our teens by providing resources and opportunities for teens of all cultural and economic backgrounds.
Our weekly meetings consist of guided conversations and games where mentors engage teens in conversations that may normally be difficult to have. The teens are also required to complete 10 hours of community service yearly. We also provide support and accountability to our active members. Join our FAMily today!
